some people have congruent, respectable goals for their comics
“i want to tell a nice story, and i hope that people enjoy it”
“i want to reveal a greater truth to my audience through cartoons, taking full advantage of the medium to produce something elegant and satisfying for anybody of any age”
but me
i want to force my readers to look at uncomfortably rendered godzilla guy nipples for pages at a time
some day maybe i will be remembered for it; maybe there will be Kirby dots, Eisner rain, and Morris nipples
