It’s a shame that Ghost Rider doesn’t look like this.
But that’s not nearly as shameful as Marvel not immediately forgiving the $17,000 that Gary Friedrich, the co-creator of the character, has been ordered to pay the corporate giant as a de facto punishment for having the audacity to try and claim a financial stake in a character that has reaped them millions.
Luckily, the near-universal contempt that everyone is feeling for Marvel’s current business practices regarding this situation has resulted in numerous ways to donate to Friedrich, who is in danger of losing his house.
You can donate to help Gary keep his house at Steve Nile’s website. My suggestion? Whatever money you might have spent to see the Ghost Rider movie, instead send that to the guy who gave you the character, and catch the movie when it’s on Redbox if it’s the sort of thing you want to see.
